3. Product Information & Pricing

Product Descriptions:

  • We strive to display our jewelry accurately with precise descriptions, images, and specifications

  • Colors and appearance may vary slightly due to screen settings and photography

  • Minor variations in handcrafted items are natural and not considered defects

  • Product specifications (weight, dimensions, gemstone details) are approximate

Pricing:

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice

  • Prices are subject to change, but orders already placed will honor the price at checkout

  • Promotional pricing is valid only during the specified period

Pricing Errors:

  • In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund

  • We will notify you if this occurs and offer you the option to purchase at the correct price


4. Orders & Payment

Order Acceptance:

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase

  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion

  • Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance; acceptance occurs upon shipment

  • We may cancel orders due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud

Payment Methods:

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express)

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)

  • Net Banking

  • Digital Wallets (Paytm, Amazon Pay, etc.)

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) - where available

Payment Security:

  • All payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways

  • We do not store your complete card details on our servers

  • You authorize us to charge the payment method provided for your order

Payment Confirmation:

  • Payment must be received in full before order processing

  • For COD orders, payment must be made at the time of delivery

  • Failed payment attempts may result in order cancellation


5. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Policy:

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 48 hours (2 business days)

  • Personalized or custom items may take 5-7 business days to process

  • Delivery timelines vary based on location and courier serviceability

  • Free shipping is available on orders above ₹449 (subject to change)

Delivery:

  • We ship across India through trusted logistics partners

  • You will receive tracking information via SMS, email, and WhatsApp

  • Delivery attempts will be made to the address provided at checkout

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the package

Undelivered Orders:

  • If delivery attempts fail due to incorrect address or unavailability, additional charges may apply for re-delivery

  • Orders returned to us due to failed delivery may incur return shipping charges

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or force majeure events

International Shipping:

  • Currently, we primarily ship within India

  • International shipping may be available for select locations (contact us for details)

  • International orders are subject to customs duties and import taxes payable by the recipient


6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Our complete Return & Exchange Policy is available separately. Key points:

  • 7-day return policy for unused, unworn items with original packaging

  • 10-day exchange policy for damaged, incorrect, or size-related issues

  • Lifetime exchange/buyback on select premium collections

  • Non-returnable items include personalized jewelry, clearance items, and gift vouchers

7. Product Authenticity & Quality

Authenticity Guarantee:

  • All jewelry sold by Orielle is authentic and sourced from verified suppliers

  • Precious metal purity and gemstone quality are as described in product specifications

  • Certificates of authenticity are provided for select premium items

Quality Assurance:

  • We conduct quality checks before shipping

  • Manufacturing defects are covered under our warranty and return policy

  • Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty

Hallmarking:

  • Gold jewelry complies with BIS hallmarking standards where applicable

  • Hallmark details are mentioned in product descriptions


8. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content:

All content on Orielle's platform is protected by intellectual property laws, including:

  • Product images, photographs, and videos

  • Logo, brand name, and trademarks

  • Website design, layout, and graphics

  • Product descriptions and marketing copy

  • Software and source code

Your Rights:

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission

  • Product images may not be used for commercial purposes

  • Screenshots and sharing for personal, non-commercial use are permitted with attribution

User-Generated Content:

  • By submitting reviews, photos, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote this content

  • You warrant that your submissions do not infringe on third-party rights

  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms


9. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts

  • Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code

  • Engage in fraudulent transactions or payment disputes

  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from our website using automated means

  • Impersonate another person or entity

  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews

  • Resell our products commercially without authorization

10. Limitation of Liability

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Orielle harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your use of our services

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

  • Fraudulent or illegal activities conducted through your account

  • Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation

  • If negotiation fails, disputes may be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996


13. Warranty Disclaimer

Product Warranty:

  • Products are sold "as is" unless covered by our specific warranty terms

  • We warrant against manufacturing defects within the return period

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage are not covered

  • Warranty does not cover changes in fashion trends or personal preference

Service Disclaimer:

  • We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service

  • We do not guarantee that our platform will meet all your requirements

15. Personalization & Custom Orders

Custom/Personalized Jewelry:

  • Personalized items (engravings, custom designs) require 5-7 business days for processing

  • Once production begins, personalized orders cannot be cancelled or modified

  • Personalized items are non-returnable unless defective or incorrect

  • Please verify all customization details before confirming your order

Design Consultation:

  • Custom design services are subject to separate terms and quotations

  • Design ownership and reproduction rights remain with Orielle unless otherwise agreed in writing


16. Marketing & Communications

Email & SMS Marketing:

  • By creating an account, you agree to receive transactional communications

  • You may opt in to receive promotional emails and SMS about offers, new collections, and updates

  • You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us

WhatsApp Communications:

  • We may send order updates and customer service messages via WhatsApp

  • Marketing messages via WhatsApp require your explicit consent


17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, pandemics)

  • Acts of government or regulatory changes

  • War, terrorism, or civil unrest

  • Strikes, labor disputes, or supply chain disruptions

  • Technical failures or internet outages


18. Severability
